Mesmerizing color and craftsmanship!

This remarkable collector’s piece is a vintage work crafted by the late Theodore Edaakie, a renowned and highly sought after Zuni artisan. His signature style of uniform channel inlay is featured here, depicting a traditional hummingbird on the pendant and complementing accents and dangles, crafted using stones of turquoise, coral, milky quartz, shell, abalone, and serpentine. Truly stunning, eye-catching, and timeless.

Theordore Edaakie (1911-1987; Zuni). Active 1930s - 1960s. Silversmith and artist. Channel inlay; some bird and eagle dancer motifs. Worked for C. G. Wallace in the 1930s; his brothers Lee (1914 - ?) and Merle (1904 - ?) also sold their jewelry through the C. G. Wallace operation
