JAW DROPPING BEAUTY 

This awe-inspiring vintage necklace is a treasure to be cherished. Attributed to late artisans Doris and Wayne Ondelacy, this traditional-style squash blossom begins on a double-strand of desert pearls, boasting 12 cluster blossoms of turquoise stones with drop accents. A large naja featuring matching turquoise stones and intricate sterling silver work of drops and twist wire throughout finishes the piece. Each of the beautiful stones features its own unique matrix, and the craftsmanship is top-tier. It has classic charm and highly collectible qualities, definitely the kind of piece that becomes a family heirloom.

Doris Ondelacy (1902-2000; Zuni). She and her husband Warren Ondelacy were active makers of cluster jewelry from the 1930s to the 1950s. Diane Lonjose is her granddaughter. Daughter is Bernice Leekya.

Warren Ondelacy (1898-1970s; Zuni). Active 1940s-” Cluster work. Governor of Zuni Pueblo in early 1930s. Warren Ondelacy shared stamps with his wife Doris Ondelacy.
